The program is over and I never posted about my trip to UTEP last month. It started with a visit to the desalination plant with the REUs and RETs.

As always, I really enjoyed walking around campus amongst the Buthanese-style buildings.
The trip was very fruitful. Besides talking to the REU mentors and interns, I got to explore future collaborations with Drs Moya and Chavez-Baray, and I had the opportunity to interact with their students and the promotoras who work in the Colonias around El Paso.
