Cierra participated in our Young Scholars Program in the summer of 2017 and she was invited back by her mentors, Dr. Rafael Verduzco and Ph.D. student Amit Jain, to work in their lab this summer before heading to Texas A&M in the fall.
She won an honorable mention for her poster presentation entitled Improving Membrane Capacitive Deionization Technology Using a Sulfonated Pentablock Copolymer.
