Week 3 and 4 was eventful, to say the least.
I have been staying ultra-busy learning new instruments and techniques related to my project and also meeting the PhD’s and Graduate students in the Li lab. I learn something new and useful everyday. Everyone I have met who attends Rice University has been incredibly helpful. It is fascinating to hear everyone’s story of how they got here and where they obtained their passion for science.
Since I stay on-campus, I have the ability to come to the lab after the workday to analyze data and run extra tests. I am seeing other, more advance, scientists do the same thing, which I greatly admire. Science never stops!
