It is my third week with the NEWT REU program! I have settled into my role at the 𝝅 Lab, and I have never felt more in my element. The other members of the lab and my mentor have been very welcoming and have helped me get used to the new lab environment.
I have started working with the Multiplexed Inertial Filters to find their particle capture efficiency. The work can be challenging at times, but it is well worth it. I have been able to learn so much in a short my short time here. I have been testing saturated filters this week and I have begun developing the next set of experiments for my research.
Very glad to hear that you are enjoying the work in Pi Lab, John, they’re a great group!
