The third week already! The time is really flying by, as I mentioned previously I have synthesized quite a bit of LDH. I have done a number of tests to characterize it, and ensure that it was indeed LDH that I synthesized. I got to be trained in FT-IR, which has been really interesting, and I am starting to understand how to read the graphs when comparing them. The others in the lab here have been very helpful in helping me with the equipment that I am not trained in, such as the XRD and the SEM.
At the end of the week I started some jar tests with selenium contaminated water, and should get the results from that soon.

Hi Janice! Tell us more about the differences in your XRD results?
