Monday we had a Diversity training where very experienced people talked about how we relate to people from different nationalities, with different cultures , point of views, religions etc. It is good to know some tips to work with people from all around the world without making any offense or making them feel bad.
My mentor and I decided to make some experiments on the mesh porosity we are using on the CDI and see what type of mesh has a better performance with our design. We agreed to make a cost estimation comparing it with the last CDI design as well and the reverse osmosis purification system. From Rice came and made an electrode over a glass. It was great to see how he prepares those electrodes. I learned a little more about how reverse osmosis works and its differences compared to the CDI.
