I’m glad to be back in Phoenix and our very dry climate. While I enjoyed Houston, I still do not like the humidity. I started working in the lab and my mentor Janice has been very helpful. I met Dr. Chan during a Zoom meeting this morning and introduced myself to the other members of her research group. I have started working in the lab and have run some FTIR and X-Ray Diffraction.
I have prepared some chitosan gel to hopefully make character analysis easier, waiting for it to dry is the difficult part.
