Since Shannon made a post about our field trip to the Scottsdale Water Campus, I won’t add much more details. The Water Campus was pretty great and I got to meet the RETs for the first time. Scottsdale is a more affluent city and their infrastructure and buildings reflect that. They also mentioned that nearly all the treated sewage wastewater goes out to golf courses and that contrary to popular belief, gold courses pay for all the water they use and also paid to build the infrastructure to deliver their water from the Water Campus.
Also, I met Shannon’s mentor Anjali and she gave me an awesome NEWT rubber duck and NEWT gecko logo sticker!
