This past week I went shopping with Sergi and Gabriel at a hydroponics store near ASU. We bought a Gorilla grow tent and fans to keep the temperature controlled. We also bought lights to simulate sunlight. 

Last Monday I began planting the lettuce seeds with the 2 different plant starters and different waters. The first one was with regular sink water, the second one was with solution recovered and the last one was with water with the required nutrients the lettuce needs. So far it has been fun seeing them grow! 

This week I will begin characterizing the growth of the lettuce. I am still reading articles on the most efficient way to do it. 

Also, the hydroponics system should be coming in any day, so hopefully by next week the lettuce will be in the full system up and running!
