Upper Valley WTP; Arsenic Removal Plant

This week has been a very busy one!

After, unfortunately, not being able to test the arsenic in the ICP-MS we were able to visit the Upper Valley Water Treatment Plant where the plant eliminates naturally existing arsenic from 21 groundwater wells. The plant processes up to 30 MGD of groundwater before blending it with up to 30 MGD of untreated groundwater to generate a finished product with an arsenic concentration of no more than 8 ppb.

Also, there kind enough to provide samples for us to compare with the potentiostat and further analyze its reliability.

Another major thing we did this we made the standard concentrations and started the rodeostat tests!
